All Men Are Created Equal - Poem by Driss Ezzireg

All men are created equal
All men are created coloured
Black, white, yellow, red and even blue!
All men have dreams, too!
So, what's the fuss?
Race?
Nothing to do with it.
Power.Yes.
No more, no less.
Shame on us; mankind.
So blind!

Topic(s) of this poem: racism, power

Form: Blank Verse

Insightful utterances set aside for honest reflection. Focussed and factual. Thanks for sharing Driss. (Report) Reply

All men are the same and so should be equal. A child could tell you that. So why the inequality still? Thanks, Driss (Report) Reply
