Transient Poem by jandy porras

Transient

Nothing lasts for all we know

Everything is transient, Oh!

Young grows old, like me and you,

supple cheeks wrinkle,

Strong knees weaken and tremble,

Fast runs slow.

Fire burns low and lost its blaze.

Passion fades as love disappears.

Hot grows cold then it drops.

Life does come to its end;

Ashes to ashes,

From God we came.

This world is vague.

All around you’s temporary.

People are changing

From day to day.

Today they’re your friend,

Tomorrow they’re your foe.

Day goes by,

Time does fleet.

Every minute’s a gem,

Every second’s a gold.

You’ll realize later…

An hour’s just a dream.

Act now and start moving

Be what you want to be.

Enjoy each morning that comes

Be happy for everyday.

Achieve all your dreams…

You’re not too late, this battle’s not yet over.
