Transit Poem by zmz gbzn

Transit

sitting on a city bus
parked with engine off
"break-time" he says
"yes" is the reply

silence fills the gaps
with clicks from fuselage
and other parts
the birds chirp up outside

stopped for just a moment
the anxious pace
in a sweet embrace
