Transitory Stars And Breathing Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Transitory Stars And Breathing

Dear Fiona,

Listen to the gentle rhythm of the rain
It sings along with your nightly sobs
I wish you never had the nerve
To let your heart out like that
In front is a reflection of you
That you no longer believe in
But you will find your way soon
As you step into the path of petals
Leaving behind the transitory stars
That led you nowhere, left you astray
Through the dark rain and clouds
Take to the bed and resume breathing
I hold your life with all these storms
But let the sun cradle you softly
As I write you a melody that will soon
Enrapture those wounds to oblivion
For now, recline to slumber my dear
Let your angelic pieces foam
Until you can beam out, all out

Love,
Moon
