Trapped Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Trapped

To my heart
I welcomed you;
a bullet.

Fear subsided
for we had
a deeper darkness.

It’s magic;
it was a chance
for two strangeness.

Let’s just drive,
steal and never need;
anything is ours.

It’s so clear now
I’ve had you
all along.

But what do you do
when the truth is
trapped within you?
