Translucent Poem by Elaine Battersby

Translucent

I am silent,
only a soft and gentle flow
of clear blue water caresses my brow.

For a moment there is no grey.
A translucent film surrounds me
and a vision untainted is mine.

Time escapes me and l it.
I feel only the moment.
It has no form and it cannot contain me.
l am naked and free.
There are no fences.
I am alone but not lonely
And life surrounds and holds me.
