Trapped
trapped in a sea of tears,
unable to swim,
unable to drown,
somehow floating,
like smoke,
with its intricate patterns,
twisting, endlessly, through the air
dreaming of your eyes
your smile, your voice
waiting, hoping, praying,
for the day you find me.
for the day you save me.
