Trapped Poem by Mark A. Murphy

Trapped

Something catches my attention
Out of the corner of my eye
A quick, bouncing, buzzing dot
Between the space of screen and glass
The housefly seeks the summer sky

I could help it, if I want
It is a helpless thing after all
But it is only a common thing
Hardly worth any trouble to save
Should I let it in or leave it fall?
