Treasure - Poem by Van Huynh

You are one in a million, a treasure in the world
Better than diamonds and better than pearls
You were more than a friend; you were more than a girl
But I didn’t cherish the present that god has giving me
Lost it and began to see
That you were everything; I needed you in my life
A guidance to show me out of the darkness night
I have nothing left, but my love for you
Every second with you was a delight and now I don’t know what to do
You still have my heart and I would give my soul to you to say
I mess up and this is I price I pay
Promises and loyalty is all I can give
I can change… please get your hopes up and believe
That this love story would be more tragic than Adam and Eve
More romantic than Romeo and Juliet
Your love is no more mine and there’s regrets
But everything I say and everything I do is useless
Pain hurting more than eternal bleeding from the wrist
Your face is what I want to see and your lips is what I want to kiss
But I lost the treasure and you’ll always be miss
Maybe if you come back… this darkness can be lit…
