Treasure Of Darkness

Death’s ice cold hand has sought to claim
The soul of fallen man
Since disobedience was to blame
Of failing Heaven’s plan

Lord cleanse my heart and cleanse my soul
Send down Your awesome Flame
Heal my spirit make me whole
And free me of my shame

Come deeper Lord, draw closer still
Come heal my shallow mind
Not my way Lord but let Your will
Be in my heart to find

Take foolish doubt and sinful lust
Cleanse pure my will with fire
Before this tent turns into dust
Burn up my self desire

Consume my pride and slothful ways
Let life be not in vain
Allow me walk throughout my days
Severed from Satan’s chain

Take all the devil’s had to give
The jewels of darkest hell
Bring freedom Lord and let me live
The truth of life to tell

With faith with hope with joy and peace
With love as constant guide
Allow Your goodness never cease
To always burn inside

Take into Yours my feeble hand
Allow Your Spirit flow
Allow through Christ to understand
The depths of truth to know
