True Love

Rating: 5.0

God is love, insurmountable
When, wherever displayed
Makes slips, faults unaccountable
Ones doubts and distrusts fade

Love will subdue the strongest hate
Conquers, any power
Troubles conflicts wars abate
Selfishness devour

Too oft when hatred comes along
Loathing comes our way
Few think of love, or sing its song
Oft falling, devils prey

Love will make a rival smile
Hatred douse or smother
Strengthen to walk that extra mile
To share with another

Love can be spread a million ways
A billion, even more
Ones worst enemy so amaze
Love will open love's door

Is this! the strength, Christ talked about
Power, Jesus displayed
Substance, life's tender plants to sprout
Neither, to wilt nor fade

True love, will gain us victory
All needs, to acquire
Arguments contradictory
Melting! in love's fire

Let true love reign, selflessly glow
Right here, now today!
Let neighbours see, feel and grow
Walking true love's Way.....
