Jewelry Box meets Treasure Chest
scene
A carefree child was walking a path
skipping rocks, fishing in outdoor bath
during the course of his play
on this one special day
in an unexpected way
he heard hysterical laugh
to his trained godly eye
saw a trail lay there
virtuous flowers rare
of orchid flower petals to follow
true love's blessings path ordained
as he listened with fervor
time peaked his curiosity
so the innocent child, beaming
climbed up a mistletoe laden tree
he stay rested from sight anonymously
to his delight a sight beholden
an open treasure chest and jewelry box
the lovely box from chest adorned
lavished with gifts from far and wide
treasures no child could dream to wear
with stardust sprinkled goldenish air
hidden way deep in layered pearls of life
tanzonite, diamonds, platinum piled high
even elaborately decorated sword and knife
to whom he would use to protect
his own and his new wife's life
playing dress up laughing out loud
hemisphere perfection under angelic cloud
as chest and box exchanged their jewels
the boy stay hid in fascinated view
after picnicing with cheeses, apples and fruits
an exuberant smile ignite within them there
the setting sun near drinking in stare
passions fire beg no question of fate
the box gave chest love treasures within
the dreams once stored and saved by faith
came out thet day to dance with sing
treasure chest and jewelry box
walked hand in hand beyond that day
then child came down from hidden place
bringing with him glorious orchid jeweled crowns
delicately placing jewelry box in treasure's chest
he wrapped them in angelic purity
with golden threads of three a cord
brought under his heavenly host
then held them at his right hand
under the mighty shelter of his wing
safely now to share with the King
