Treat Me Different Poem by Akeem Mair

Treat Me Different

When People treat you different
Ive been there, its no strange feeling
Like the whole world against you
and nobody Is defending
Fighting all these battles there's no help
you're on your own
Pretending to be happy
when deep down you feel alone
They don't understand you
so they labeled you wierd
My only fear is being lonely
cuts a heart sharper than a spear
As you look around you notice
Your friends with the happier life
And You get the sad eyes in the mirror
Wondering why
Why this world treat them special
and only give you hell
Im tired of seeing all my dreams fail
I'm tired of handling the whole world all by myself
They seem to have it all
where I've been struggling
I'm a stranger to success
yet my troubles know me
And then it hit me life ain't gonna change
unless I treat me different
Everybody else seem to do it
so let me influence it
Let me create my own movement
and start being followed
Like my great leaders before me
who weren't respected
At first treated like they nobody
till they got the world to listen
You will treat me like I'm somebody
you ain't gonna just treat me....
