Tree - Poem by dhanraj swarnakar

I was born by the seed
And today I m everyone’s need
I became taller and taller and taller
But my friend got older and older and older

I enjoyed a lot during monsoon
But the winter would return soon
My fruits were used to eat
And many times they tasted very sweet

I was a mango tree
And I was never let free
People used to play on my branches
But I could not play any matches

One day I was very thirsty
And I was kicked by the child who was knotty
I could not shout at any time
When people in front of me did crime

One fine day when I was older
I peeped in a man’s folder
I saw the pictures of deforestation in it
And I suddenly got a terrible hit

When I saw at my side
My bro, sis, and all my friends had died
My eyes were filled with tears
And as soon as I was cut I felled down with fear

And one fine day all trees will be disappeared
But our soul will together start to clear
All the human beings on earth by our brains
And then man will feel the need to give me birth again
