Trees Poem by Neil Graham Marsden

Trees

Rating: 5.0

Kiss the falling, leaves goodbye
spinning brown for one last time;
Nature's display of indifference.
Pray for all God's Children
for they are not guilty of our horrors.
They will inherit a World that
we have built for them,
shaded only by the dying trees

Great visual images reinforce your content. Just found you today when you commented on my 'Malcontent Debris' Two of my poems attempt to deal with what your poem 'Trees' is saying to me: 'OCTOBER' and 'Beyond October.' I hope you have a great October.
