Trials And Tribulations Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Trials And Tribulations

Nation always aspires for a soul like one
That once she cracked Pak into two parts
Dressed well in her blue tights-
Indira dared fight, faring well
Against, top World Power of the times
Some forty-six years ago-
When, outer world-norms refused to change.

Thereafter now, when Modi took over-
Like the most iconic super-hero of the era
When internal world-norms of the nation
Refuse to change, causing double -trouble
On such a long road to sustainability.

Steel-man deserves equal appreciation
As a perfect and skilful grey-matter
For calm, peace and tranquillity-
Running after invincible aliens for taming
Resonate with masses, catching hold of globe
In short span of time, not an optical illusion.

Crafty revivalists and texture conservationists
Bringing back the focus on lost fabrics-
Reviving up revival, drawing up closer
Passing through the trials and tribulations.
