A star appeared in the night sky
Jesus brought you home
I felt so helpless and alone
I questioned Jesus as to why

I talk with you every night
As I look up in my sadness
I see the star twinkling bright
I questioned Jesus as to why

You left a place no one can fill
Fond and loving memories
I will see you again someday I know
As of now an empty chair

Jesus answered my question
In Heaven you were needed
As a rose had gone missing
So he replaced it with you

They say in time it gets easier
To deal with your loss
Yet the pain continues
Will it ever stop

Mahi you were my Idol
As I grew up to what I am
Helped when help was needed
Guided me along each path
Most of al you gave me love
Mahi thanks for  being
