Close to my heart I need you lord
On this day in my hour of need
Illness brings untold fear o lord
Only you my God can give me peace
We forget lord why you came to earth
We forget lord you were tortured
We forget lord you were crucified
We forget lord you died for us
We are only human after all lord
We pray when we suffer illness lord
We seek forgiveness from you o lord
Father you are truly a healer
Your presence I feel within
Your son Jesus embrace my soul
