Trivial Happinesses Poem by Suchitra Bandi

Trivial Happinesses

Trivial happinesses in my world,
beautify my life,
I am content and pleased,
with no discord no strfife.

With soft words of love,
cant we bring world peace?
with selfless friendship,
wont the hatred cease?

I have seen enemity,
I have seen benevolence.
They rule our world,
and make all the difference.

What did we gain,
from detesting each other.
what good did it make?
so lets be together.

We belong to the same guild,
the guild which makes us one,
we live on same soil,
dwell under same sun.

I pray God to make us,
Celebrate and Rejoice.
For life is His gift,
to love it is our choice.
