Trucker Family Poem by Dawn Keller

Trucker Family

Rating: 5.0

Eighteen wheeler's all around me
Having fun enjoying the company
We are a family of drivers
Who come together once a year

Weather we are out in the highway
Or sitting at a truck stop
We all have a lot in common
Being away from home

Running coast to coast
Diesel engines revving up
White lines start to blur
Time to shut down

Morning rolls around again
Thank the lord for another day
Grab my coffee and roll
600 miles to go to end another day
