Here I come tonight, before I go to bed
Just to dropp you a line that I made in my head
Hoping it to be like nothing ever said
'Cause it's coming deep from my heart,
and with pure love it is led
Now I ask the gracious lord
for happiness and joy in your life to spread,
Yet just before you leave me bored
I wanna give you a lovely rose red,
Pleading you to hear what my heart kept unsaid
what in all of my saying I try to embed
For I know it's pure true,
and it's all in my eyes read
I will just tell no more and silently wait instead
and my queen, just let me know
if with my words you feel up fed
please my love, then take my sword
and at your will my heart do shred
Maybe then I may go dead
But not, no way, my love for you;
My love for you will go fast-stead
