True Love Poem by James H.C King

True Love

Rating: 5.0

In our comfort we lie in relitiveness,
then uncertainty flashes upon us out of the blue,
it devours our existance with emotion,
so crippleing we will not eat,
so debilitating our physical self crumbles around our own situations
giving us no salvation from the lie our heart has told us
true love has unearthed us and we are soiled
this our soul has spoken and we can give no defence

ignored feelings falling endlessly on blind denial
long but forgotten heartbreak torment
endless dissapointment shattered expectations
consultations negotiations relations delagations
torn lovers shattered at heart
the look shows on our face
long after the start
building new opinions
life has painted onto my face
get me out of here I feel a disgrace
in being in living I hide here inside
shattered and torn with no inner pride
just longing to ask her love share my life, love be my wife

the colours remain visable for all to see
takes plenty of shades to make up you and me
a canvas my face is for all to see
this shades done in grey the make up of a once before me

a new hope for love to start for the life that i had was torn from my heart
a life given in full not playing a part I can see clearly right from the start

The warmth the feel, the flutter the spark
no hot and no cold no end to the dark
just walking my soul with you in the park
together forever one glorious heart
born in wait for each other until last breath tears us apart
