True-Self Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

True-Self

Holding an echo
To ones true self
Noxious cruel eyes
Gusting out
Piercing shoots
Of flames of fire
A volcanic storm
Overwhelming
The whole creation.
The heart itself
Burning with jealousy
Suffering the wraths
And pangs of negativity
An aura all around.

The fake front
Of worldly smiling face
Outer fleeting glow
Unfriendly
Inner sorrowful twinge
Fully darkened soul
And human mortal frame
Being prone to distress
Though sharing heart
In exchange
Yet, no chance to retake.

Whilst:
Plus is becoming minus
And minus unlit plus
The pesticide is hitting
The target and the striker
As bitter as own true self.
