Trust Poem by Antoinette Rose Maria Rogers

Trust

I'm tired of you scrutinizing me as
the immature baby
still being fed by the beast
connected to mommy's chest.
I'm tired of you identifying me as
the idiotic ignorant illiterate child
who still doesn' t clearly comprehend
the true meaning of
Responsibility.
Please, Please,
I'm begging you please
trust that my
Adolescence lessons lessens
the legend of lifeless dreams
Trust that I'm destined to dominate
determination
demonstrating dedication
to loving myself first
Trust that my faith in your
devotion in me is believed to be
Everlasting
Trust that my adoration for you is
more that my adoration for life itself
Trust that my image is flawlessly flawless
above every flawless thing in heaven
Trust in me.

By,
Rose
