Trust Poem by Jean-Francois Denis

Trust

Rating: 4.9

In the past I used to trust
But when years passed by
Instead to be growing, all that trust fell in dust
It was shrinking day after day, lie after lie.

Everytime I trusted someone
I found myself crying in my shell
Everytime I trusted someone
I was locked out in my cell.

Too many times I crossed the river
And found myself drowning.
Too many times I crossed the bridge
And found myself falling.

There are too many hypocrites out there
Too many peoples with false disguise
When you look at it, you look the one by your side and you wonder
If that person is truly your friend or some other lies...
