When someone breaks your trust,
How can you give it once again?
So what I say is,
Put not your trust in men,
That year he told my mom,
He'd always be around,
Then sixteen later,
He tore that promise to the ground,
I am fourteen,
But I am not young,
These two years have aged me,
With every tear that stung,
The hardships and the sorrow,
That you've put me through,
So how can I,
Ever trust you,
And because of all of this,
I cannot trust anyone,
And the reason why,
Is because of what you've done.
