Trust Poem by Lori Ann Wright

Trust

Rating: 5.0

When we met I knew it was you. I could look in your eyes and knew it was true.

We had a blast with the years that gone by. Then I don't understand why you began to lie.

You did it then and then again. I knew it was close the bitter end.

What happened between you and I? That gave you the thought that you need to lie.

I would have given you the world or even the sky. I knew that was impossible but, I was willing to try.

You hurt me bad with the lies you told. Not only did you hurt my heart but, it's the trust that you stoled.

I am not so sure if it ever come back. At least you know that I won't take that.
