Trust? Poem by sahar alameddine

a nightmare woke her up in the middle of the night
angry, disgusted and ready to fight
it was just a dream not even close to what's real
but sooner it turned to life causes pain can't be healed

eyes turned numb expressing that fear
and facing others now she cannot bear
eyes keeps looking when she faced the ground
a non ended battle dressed her her shroud

what kind of mistake she did to deserve this?
she trusted others those she won't miss
so she has chosen death to be her precious drug
nothing will heal her pain not even a lover's hug

digging in the mud burying herself with satisfaction
she doesn't care anymore she has no reaction
promised to be free she will be born again
she will forget everything specially what happened then

it's a blindness when u trust someone
so never do that because no one
no one deserve to be trusted these days
it's something will causes pain and haze
