Trust Poem by djemoi talbi

Trust

You don’t want to believe… that’s great
You prefer to deny the truth; you refuse to wait
When I tell you the truth I’m the enemy
And the liar becomes your mate

You chose to believe him; you chose to take the bait
It’s about trust not destiny or the will of a certain fate

You like to lie or to be lied to…I don't
Just tell me the truth and, please, don't
Put the blame on my critical state
