Trust In Lie Poem by William Stanley

Trust In Lie

Rating: 0.5

A lie once told, they’re easy to repeat.
Trust was given, and you took it away.

Exceptions are made, Best faith and free will.
Hoping, No wanting, No Dreaming I’m right.

Then it creeps up. Like the thief in the night.
I’ve caught you again, I feared that might.

You look in my eyes and tell me it’s true.
But who am I, Really who am I to you.

Just another Lie, a Lie in the night.
Broken and hurt and full of this spite.

You did this to me, No you did this to us.
You look at me, Look at me and tell me it's true.

And now you want my trust.
The trust was lost by You.
