you smile, and stars burst into being
you laugh, the angels swoon and dropp into the sea
your eyes mirror starlight at midnight
dreamtides rise and fall behind them, so deep and so bright
and tonight i spent a few moments time
eying the skies, the velvet darkness breathing beside my mind
in sync with my heartbeat, in sync with the divine
and im blessed to be alive
yet the same love and passion i have for living
is matched by the love of you being near me
moments i take for granted
enchanted minutes of magic
damnit, i remember what its like to hug you
but whats it like to love you?
to hold you and show you
what you cant see alone, i know
what i feel is true
my emotion for you continues
to move me, illume me, and play my heartstrings elegantly
and i may not speak eloquently
but trust me my feelings elevate me
and echo deeply
truly magical meaning
true heavenly dreaming
mirroring a potential reality
so when you're ready, come to me
ill give you anything and everything
thats mine to give, and so we'll live
happily ever after, its true
