Trust Your Heart (Sonnet #212) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Trust Your Heart (Sonnet #212)

Our hearts are wise and insightful masters
They have their own senses, they feel, they know
They're tied to the soul as flowers and bees
They speak with vibes, true love makes them glow.

Listen to your heart: is it happy or not?
Your heart is meant to light your life as the sun
It hosts a sacred, divine flame from God
Trust your heart, it knows your best like no one.

True love grows with deep roots not honey words
Assess how your relationships make you feel
Do they blossom flowers or blacken your world?
Do they leave wounds and scars or help you heal?

Make not your heart a bench for passers-by,
It's home for true love that lasts after you die.
