Trying To Breath Poem by Audrey Marie Kay

Trying To Breath

My throat starts to numb
as the tears invade my cheeks
unwanted
and its taking over me
I'm trying to breath
hanging on to the memory
and I'm following the path
destroying my happiness
letting myself be consumed
and I'm fragile
breakable and cracking
as the tears patrol my cheeks
my throat getting numb
again left trying to breath
