Confused, But I Love You Poem by Audrey Marie Kay

Confused, But I Love You

Rating: 5.0

confused words wrapped around my neck
words that hurt but are truth spoken thoughts
the thoughts not ment to be present
never to be uncovered again
helpless in understanding the meaning
not sure words should be said so i'm hesitant
waiting for the clarity of this love
what love is left to be heard
my voice cracks as i speak the unspoken
the truth of the hurt that feels confused
overwhelmed by the feeling that shouldn't be
love that shouldn't ever be spoken or thought.
this heart of mine spinning in circles
holding me back but wanting to go
i shouldn't have never left you
this pain is of the love i shouldn't feel
i've always felt it. never left it.
just pushed it aside for you to bend
bend and break in the thoughts of my mind
till you are no more left but
i keep thoughts of you in my heart
the kind that should be there
the confusion of my world
waves of heart ache in my head
confused but i love you...
