Tryst Poem by Gauri Prakash

Tryst

Long journey through the day
Through endless confusion and choices
Confusion that impinges on emotions, emotions that dissolve composure
That past bothers me still, that future I yet have to fill
Have those people forgiven me for what I did
What I did not
I walk through questions, I walk through remorse, I walk through upheaval, I walk through them everyday
Through work I will find passion, through music I will find beauty, through dance I will find exaltation
Will anything find me peace
Find me my childhood; it took my innocence away with it
Find me my youth; it took my verve away with it
Away is my freedom, it’s hiding behind the sun
Behind the sun that won’t let the night finally come
Night is the dark fairy; she will appear with her wand
To her I shall cry and with her I shall bond
She will shower wisdom and love on me
And summon all the stars, only for me
And hence, will come the infinite stars
The stars that will laugh and the stars that will dance
Dance with them I will forget all my pain
Leave in the morning but their love will remain
That is my redemption, that is my bliss
I will wait for my stars; I will wait for our tryst.

Every one has enduring pains, dance, sing, write and read you will find the route to escape. Past is ast forget it, future is not here; don't think of it, present is the time with you, enjoy it, trythfully, future is yours. No doubt. Thumbs up.
