Tuesday's Child - Pinewood Royal Poem by Guy-Paul Mitchell-Dwelly

Tuesday's Child - Pinewood Royal

On a cold winter's morning in December
While heavy snow lay upon the ground
There was an air of sweet expectation
Around the fire side families gathered round
Another star in the sky shone so brightly
As it shone so many years before
And as Jack Frost tip-toed oh-so lightly
A little baby was being born
So the Angels came
From their special place
And blessed us with your tiny face
Oh dressed in pink and pretty lace
And now the World's a better place

Because Tuesday's child is full of Grace

Dancing on Angel's feet sent from heaven
From the brightest star
Tiny hands and feet and a just sweet smile
Oh what a miracle you are
But the glorious days of childhood
Come and go oh so very fast
So it's time for lots of hugs and kisses
To make those precious moments last
So the Angels came
From their special place
Though Monday's child is fair of face
You're dressed in pink and pretty lace
And you've made the World a better place

Because Tuesday's child is full of Grace
