Tulip Town Poem by Prafulla Sahu

Tulip Town

Rating: 4.0

Tulip Town

(On visiting Skiget valley Washington state)

Rising from lovers ' blood
Tulips now in its radiant hues
Cast a spell on passersby,
Hearts dangling in air
Say, behold! the beauty of love.

Ah boundless stretches of tulips! !
Bright and radiant!
Colorous Pride! !

Set go, lean onto them
Talk, they will whisper back
The secret of happiness.
A few dollars pay you back
A Million -dollar- smile..

We sell weapons
We sell gadgets
We sell malls of….
Yet fall miles behind
the sweetness of love

A town here sells tulips
We fall to-lips
Lips here swell
to boundless stretches of smile
And love pure
To enjoy a kiss of spring.

I sing
cling to tulips..to-lips, to-lips.
