The Best Poem Of Prafulla Sahu

A Bride

Bride of Nature

When plants are so beautiful
Slim, sound
With green and pinkish veils
Under gowns speckled with flowers
yellow red pink violet and scarlet
I brood
How i fell in love with a girl so passionately
Instead of a bride of Nature.

A girl ascends to womanhood
To fall to wrinkles and dying numbness
Where with every fall
A tree grows better with new Auburn leaves...

True love is as tall as trees
As safe and boisterous as nectar
Better to love a plant
And die and burn over her ribs.
