Turbulent Times Poem by Wafula p'Khisa

Turbulent Times

I neither like the smell of air
nor the darkening face of the sky
It will rain soon, very soon!

Guard your tongue
and trim the arrogance in your cranium
Anger makes a stupid man ruin his home!

Wafula, I like the way this poem ends with a kind of aphorism. Maybe revise as I suggest below: I neither like the smell of this air nor the darkening face of the sky. It will rain soon, very soon! Guard your tongue and trim your arrogance. Anger makes a stupid man ruin his home! If you have time, check out my new website: jeffersoncarterverse.com Tell me how you like it, and, if you do, perhaps share it with interested friends? Thanks. Yrs, JC
