Turn My Heart Poem by Jabram Raven Allen

Turn My Heart

Turn my heart O'God from its inequities; Place within it the life saving fear of your wrath. Let not my soul be seduced by serpents or my heart torn asunder by duplicity, but pierced by your sword of truth. Let my mind not be tossed about like brittle leaves upon the wind, but planted firmly like a tree in your righteousness.

Let your loving flame burn through briers of deceit, and inspire a desire for salvation. like a plant that grows towards the sun let my mind turn towards your holy one.
