Turn not away from me

Turn not away from me, oh, my dear
Swarming birds do fly with the wind
Like a train vanishing from sight
You leave the pangs for me behind.

Turn not away from me, oh, my dear
Strong wind stirs the branches around
Sweet things turn in a moment bitter
Lonely waves timbre gloomy sound.

Turn not away from me, oh, my dear
You like cloud shield all rays from me
Thrifty time fails to show rowdy spear
As you sit with me, and I cheer with thee.

My love for you and your love for me
Drive us quite away in a wide open sea
Nothing do we hear, none do we see
The only abode we feel then is eternity.
