Turned Away Poem by Aaron McLoughlin

Turned Away

Rating: 5.0

My love is but a sin,
my lust an evil trait,
confusion clouds emotions,
devils watch upon my gate.

Why look for what is lost?
Why cry for whom has gone?
In the end I'll blame myself,
for believing in the wrong.

and soul lets out a din.

I am but once a shadow,
of the man I was before,
I have been turned away,
when pleading help upon your door…
