Turned Out To Be - Poem by Sarah Reamey
Things aren't going out of line.
For once in my life I feel fine.
I thought my heart was full of stress,
But it was full with nothing but regret.
I finally found myself at peace,
With the person I have turned out to be.
I no longer look in the mirror and hate what I see,
Because that persons not a monster, its just simply me.
I've learned not to regret,
But to simply just forget.
Theres a reason why things are in your past,
And theres a reason why those things didn't last.
Things are better now you see,
Because I've learned to love the person I've turned out to be.
