Turned Your Back Poem by Lorene Kinsey

Turned Your Back

I’ve seen you turn your back on me,
far too many times.
So if you’d like to know the truth,
I want you in my life.
But if that’s just too much to ask, I’m sorry
to impose.
I’ve tried and tried to get you back, but
you kept turning up your nose.
So if a little friendship is more than you can accept,
I wish you’d try to tell me, so I can try to forget.
