Turquoise Dream Poem by Lauren Joy

Turquoise Dream

Cool water lapping
Against soft, white sand
A shoreline unsure of its place
Gentle waves whispering
To the calm, warm breeze
Secrets never to be retraced
Turquoise jewels glistening
Beneath a hypnotic sun
A moving bed of blue tranquility
Patient tide washing
All the stains away
A fiery sunset of hope and healing
