We all have to live our life
We choose the way before we arrive
The details are in players hands
The route is set in ancient plans

Memory, so unreliable
But it's there, in you and me
What's been is undeniable
Forgotten but not forgiven
Haunted by actions from the past
And by unfinished business driven

If each soul has a twin
If two once were one
And if there are marks to recognise
The missing part in disguise
Then sure you, just like me, must see
The marks left on you and me

They are so clear and mirrored
Too obvious to think that
It could really be
The secret connection
Between you and me

But yet, every time I laugh it off
As fantasy
It turns around, comes back
And strikes me like thunder
Leaving me to wonder
How it can be
That there's something called magic
Between you and me

I'm trapped in my world
And you in yours
A sacred promise
Long died with my brain
But saved in my soul
The centuries pass
The quest is the same
It will not be forgotten
If you love me
You will find me
Again and again
