Twin Lakes, Ct Poem by Charles Lampert

Twin Lakes, Ct

Twin Lakes, CT

At the shore, fireflies
trace tight zigzags
stirred by a small breeze.
A skein of geese briefly
shadows stars with doppler
honks rising and falling.
Bullfrogs make wet thunder
in the hollow of the water.
