Twin Souls

Two lifetimes ago,
we were two seats apart
at two different schools,
moving down two separate paths.
Two decades later
with two kids each
and two marriages behind us,
those paths intersected.
Two people,
two incomplete lives,
two halves rejoining
to become one twin soul.
