Two Poem by Jay Toff

Two

I spent the day with you today.
Just the two of us.
Your father doesn't know about you yet.

We danced and sang and bathed.
We ate and slept.
We hugged your dad.
A lot.

And it was the two of us alone in the world for a few hours.
Only two knew.

You need to know
I loved you instantly.
You're very small,
But you are loved.
