Two Different Languages Poem by Tamara Turner

Two Different Languages

The way we communicate is like two people speaking two different languages
There's this wall that causes a barrier that expands like a fortress
I can see your lips moving but all hear is echoes
You try to listen to what I'm saying
but my voice sounds like a high pitched Celo
So we become distant I stop trying to call
And you stop tryibg to listening
We both will go our own separate ways
To try to figure out the meaning of life
And try to figure what's missing
